Eco-Friendly Design
The Somerset County Cultural and Heritage Commission held its 2024 Teen Arts Festival on May 16, according to a press release.

The festival was held at Raritan Valley Community College and was attended by nearly 900 students and teachers from 12 Somerset County schools, according to the press release. The festival is part of an annual arts-in-education program for the county’s middle and high school students.

Students had the opportunity to participate in 28 workshops or masterclasses that included everything from woodworking and paper-making to acting and dancing. Some students were nominated to take part in the New Jersey State Teen Arts Festival.

Two students were also chosen to participate in the Visual Arts Traveling Exhibition of Teen Arts New Jersey taking place this August through next May, according to the press release.
