Mark Daniels, the East Windsor Regional School District’s chief school administrator, has been named Superintendent of the Year by the Mercer County Association of School Administrators, the association announced in a press release.

“I am truly humbled and honored to be acknowledged by the Mercer County Association of School Administrators as Superintendent of the Year for Mercer County,” Daniels said. “Although I am named as the recipient of this year’s award, it should be noted that the great things happening in the East Windsor Regional School District are due to the uniquely dedicated and talented educators, staff, students, parents, administrators, and supportive Board of Education.

“This recognition represents our collective efforts and continued commitment to students.”

Daniels has also served as president of the Mercer County Association of School Administrators since 2023.

“Mr. Daniels is a highly respected district leader,” Dr. David Aderhold, superintendent of the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District, said. “His work and leadership during the past five school years is a testament to Mr. Daniels’ dedication to the students and staff of *the district).

“He is an outstanding selection as the 2024 Mercer County Superintendent of the Year and we offer him our thanks and congratulations on his recognition.”
