The New Jersey Small Business Development Center will host a Juneteenth Black Business Marketplace on June 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at RWJ Hamilton Center for Health & Wellness in Hamilton, according to a listing on Eventbrite.

The New Jersey Small Business Development Center consists of 11 centers statewide. There is no cost to attend the marketplace. Organizers said the marketplace “allows diverse people from all backgrounds the opportunity to experience and learn about Black-owned businesses in the Mercer County area, as well as discover the hidden jewels in the community.”

The event will include food, vendors, a DJ and prizes and giveaways.

“Being able to provide a marketplace event for the third straight year in remembrance of Juneteenth is a fantastic opportunity for Black-owned businesses in our community,” said Lilian Mauro, regional director of the New Jersey Small Business Development Center at The College of New Jersey in Ewing. “Many of our vendors are home-based and our annual Juneteenth Black-Owned Business Marketplace in Hamilton provides a platform to showcase their goods and services in person to a wide swath of consumers passing through.”
